Hikari® Tropical First Bites® provide a nutritionally balanced profile during the crucial developing stage of your fry's life, promoting correct feeding habits. This semi-floating meal provides precise nutrition to fry at all levels of the aquarium while reducing water quality issues that are typical with conventional fry foods.

FEEDING

Feed everyday, as often as possible, the amount your fish will swallow in 2 to 3 minutes for best results. It's important to avoid feeding bigger amounts of food less frequently, as this can lead to malnutrition. Feed an amount of food that can be taken in under a minute up to four times each day for optimal outcomes.
For the bottom and mid-water feeders
Before feeding, soak in a cup of aquarium water. This causes the meal to sink faster, giving the fry easier access to the nutrients.
Live-Bearers (ovoviviparous) can eat Hikari First Bites as soon as they are born.
They use their yolk sack for sustenance shortly after birth for Egg-Layers (oviparous). Start giving Hikari First Bites shortly before they go to their new home.
